Lab Assignment This lab assignment will ask you to write a program using recursion. Exercise 1 1. Create a New Java Application named ArithmeticProgression and copy the file ArithmeticProgression.java into the project. 2. A common example of a recursive formula is one to compute the sum of the first n integers, 1 + 2 + 3 + … + n. The recursive formula can be expressed as 1 + 2 + 3 + … + n = n + (1 + 2 + 3 + … + (n – 1)) Implement the body of the method sumInts() in the class ArithmeticProgression so that it recursively calls itself to return the sum of the first n integers.
