Define a static method boolean sorted (double x, double y, double z) that returns true if the arguments are in numeric order from smallest to largest (in other words, if x is smallest, z is largest and y has a value in between), and false otherwise. Thus, for example sorted (3.4, 5.5, 8.1) would return true, whereas sorted (3.4, 8.1, 5.5) would return false. Your method should work even if two or more values are identical. (Hint: The simplest solution only requires one line in the method). Attachments
